The second free book is called The Story of a Spacerocket. Again – a great find.This book explains how rockets work and has a nice double page spread visually explaining which parts of the rocket fall off when, and which are left. It turns out the astronaut is left in a space about the size of an inflight toilet, zooming through space. Crazy. Some lovely images of cowboys thrown in there and some beautiful colours. I can’t find it now so I expect someone quite small has nabbed it to gen up on how he can get into space himself. In a cardboard rocket.
